The very first thing I did when I saw my baby on the 10th day after his birth was examining his feet, toes and palms! Those feet are still the most beautiful ones, I admire the most. It's not for the first time I examine a baby's feet, for I have always been fascinated by the changes those little feet undergo every day as the baby grows up. My first specimen was my sister's son, the pet of our family, Nimrodh. He has become 11years old now, and still I look at his fingers and feet and admire the new shape those little feet have got now!
So, here's something I did to satiate my long- lasting obsession with the ever changing feet of my baby. The feet imprint caught on a simple dough made with salt, rice powder and wheat flour. If you have an oven you can try baking, but what I did here is just put it on a pan and placed on low flame for sometime until it became very hard. After that I kept it in the sun for almost a week. To give it an effect of a beach shore, I sprayed silver fevicryl with toothbrush after carefully sealing the feet imprint with cellotape and later on when completely dried painted light brown watercolour on the silver dots.
